Our climbing boulders are the most authentic recreation of a natural rock face available. The realistic rocks create not only a stunning visual installation, but also a more authentic climbing experience.
As we manufacture the boulders in the UK we can create any shape, size and even match your local rock type. The degree of difficulty and features will depend on target user and this can be from 5 years to expert climber.
Our climbing boulders can be made to either the Playground Standard BS1176 or the Climbing Standard BS12572 depending on where the boulders will be installed and who the boulders are for.
Climbing offers a wide range of physical, mental and social benefits. In the playground it offers key skill development in physical fitness, risk taking and developing social skills of turn taking and communication. Climbing is not just for the able bodied and physically fit. Boulders and climbing walls can be designed to allow full inclusivity of all types of users. Most of our boulders will offer different levels of expertise in a boulder and will ensure that boulders aimed at children will have an easier descent line.
Our boulders are not just for the playground. Experienced climbers are catered for with larger and more challenging boulders to promote a more technical style of climbing. Boulders can include:

Bolt on holds
Having been at the forefront of climbing wall hand hold design & manufacture in the UK since the beginning of the modern indoor climbing era, we offer an extensive Morphix range of bolt-on and screw-on climbing holds.
The shapes have been painstakingly crafted by our own master craftsman with a distinctive style and uncompromising approach towards quality and are highly respected throughout the industry.
Climbing hold shapes are created with both form and function in mind. We offer general sets in a variety of themed styles for the creation of climbing routes of any character and difficulty. Also available are specific sets of hand holds with a fun element, specifically aimed at youngsters and those new to the sport. These include bolt-on holds in the form of letters, numbers and creatures. In addition, fingerboards and training specific hold designs are available for those in the pursuit of improving their performance!

Traversing Walls
Traversing walls are a cost-effective, space-efficient climbing solution for schools, playgrounds, homes, and any child-focused environment. Designed mainly for younger users but suitable for all ages and abilities, they involve low-level sideways climbing, which reduces risk and limits the need for specialist equipment or supervision. Popular as a fun form of exercise, they help develop strength, flexibility, and spatial awareness while introducing an element of adventure.
Outdoors, traversing walls make excellent use of otherwise unused space and are built with a grid of fixing points for bolt-on holds. Holds are typically arranged into three colour-coded routes of varying difficulty, with spare fixing points left for future adjustments. Keeping the lowest footholds under 600 mm from the ground allows safe use without the need for additional safety surfacing.
Climbing walls
Over the years we have built both indoor and outdoor climbing walls and towers. They are bespoke designed and have been installed in sports centres, universities, schools, scout camps, military camps, holiday parks and domestic homes. Walls can be catered for any age or ability and for all types of climbing.
